Peace in the Storm

Dear Brothers,

Today, as I never could understand what Philippians 4:7 teaches us that the Easy Language Bible translates: "So God will give her peace, that peace which the people of this world can not understand, but it protects the heart and understanding of those who are already in Christ. "

The murder of my husband, March 3 was something totally unexpected. However, from the outset, my son and I turned to God for comfort and strength, and that allowed us to find His peace in the midst of the storm.

Actually, we could see in his great mercy, for weeks had been strengthening our faith and my husband. The lessons on the book have been used as a balm.

I remember when Alex's brother encouraged us to believe in your heart, no matter what, God is in control of everything. Also when we explained that the wounds that Naomi had not allowed them to be healed by God, were filled with bitterness, preventing him from turning to God.

God took my husband at a time when their faith was the maximum. After that for years had refused to congregate, was now happy in life again. The Sunday before his death, after dinner, got up and said I have not got me scared to death, because I have the certainty of who I am going: with Christ ... For you I have Esono fear of death. I said, you're right, we should not fear our death or that of our loved ones. If you go with Christ we know that separation is not forever, it's just a see you later and go to a better life.

And I can tell you that this conviction gives us encouragement.

Yes, there are times I cry and done at fault, I know he is more than better: it is in its true and eternal home. What to us is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, is for him and a palpable reality. And seen Christ face to face. So, after the relief, return the peace of God, that peace that passeth all understanding.

Some people think-to ourselves calm my son and me that actually we are only refusing to face the pain and the harsh reality.

What happens is that we recognize the difference between pain and suffering. Pain is inevitable, and God has given us tears to let him out. Suffering is a choice of ours, when we are filled with rage against God and refuse to accept what He allowed to happen. Then, like Naomi, we are filled with bitterness.

We understand that when someone passes that stage of bitterness, God understands and continues to protect and love her. But, learned-comohemos us with this crisis, is not required to go through it. With or without it, the end is the same: we must learn to trust God no matter what happens, sure that "those who love God all things work together for good" (Romans 8: 28).

It is best done from the beginning. So we can receive His peace since the beginning of the storm.

Even now I can appreciate the profound significance of the council gave quePablo deÉfeso believers: "... let the mighty power of Christ to give them lasfuerzas necessary. Put on the armor that God has given them, so they can resist the attacks deldiablo. Therefore, Put on the full armor! Thus, when the evil day, able to withstand enemy attacks. And they have fought to the end, will remain firm "(Eph 6:10,12-13. Version: Simple Language Bible).

We need spiritual armor from before things happen, because when it's hit (bad day), we will remain firm from the beginning to the end of the storm. So come to strengthen both our faith and with it, nuestraarmadura. What would have happened if we had been forgetful hearer of all those teachings? Thanks to him, when he got the evil day, pudimoscomprobar how resisted and still resist armor along losdías. Literally, our faith is like a shield, which bounces around the devil's attempt to porllevarnos sympathy (for this will lead to bitterness and rebellion against God).

The certainty of our salvation and my husband is a hull that keeps our minds and focus on God and his mercy. Allowing certain that He has a plan for us. And what a tragedy, He will bring good things. Already we are seeing ...

His Word is for us a map to guide us and remember we are only pilgrims on this earth as we go toward our true homeland. And so, we reject every lie that the devil wants to confuse us).

Let Onward, brothers. And "God, who gives us security, filled with joy. Give them the peace that brings trust him. And, by the power of the Holy Spirit, fill forand. " (Rom 15:13. Easy Language Version Bible).

A year and a half I, Daisy Ramos, arrived at the feet of my Lord Jesus Christ, he held out his arms, took my life and heart as he passed through moments of great difficulty, to the point of considering suicide as an option. All doors had closed I had mortgaged my house, my mother fell seriously ill shortly after I lost my mother, I lost the house and was in debt and literally nothing. I tried to fix this for help but got nowhere. Once I knew the Lord was my understanding that now would be walking by faith, which depended on him more than a salary, so I ask my God to do His will and guide me with His mighty hand, and I've believed him and I will not fear anything because he is my support and strength. Arriving in Lourdes began to see His wonders. I asked the Lord to guide me to a church and was at that time the sister Rosita Nueva Vida invited me, as my life is now "A New Life", which today bear witness to what the Lord has done in my life as I have gone through very tough test. The first is that 24 and December 31, 2008 did not have any money to buy, my finances were at zero, I asked the Lord proveyera me food, and even today they have missed I thank my God, thus testified their loving care. The second is that to ask the Lord to cover my debts, help me with the approval of a debt consolidation loan to decimate that way every month and my Lord answered me, opened doors and hearts touched something I approve that was really impossible because of the requirements and policies of those who give. This month, I approved it and I will be back because God is with me. ! Thank you dear Lord Jesus!
