On what day of the week did Jesus die?
Good morning, Chity my question is this: We are in the days to remember the passion, death and resurrrección of our Lord in Matthew 12:38-40 ...
Jesus prophesied that he will be dead 3 days, if according to tradition he died Friday, actually kept his prophecy?
Daniel thanks for your question.
No doubt this question is and will remain one the most interesting questions about the life of our Lord Jesus Christ.
First, the prophetic sign of the Lord Jesus in his death was real, what did happen, "he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah . For as Jonah was in the whale's belly three days and three nights, so shall the Son of Man in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. "Matthew 12:39, 40.
Seeing the harmony of the Gospels, in Matthew 16:21, Matthew 17:22,23, Mark 10:33,34 and Luke 24:6,7 we read indicated that Jesus would rise "on the third day." Some have said that there is a contradiction between "the third day" and "three days and three nights." But there is such a contradiction, since both terms are used in Scripture.
That is, in light of the Word of God in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ would spend a time interval of 3 days and 3 nights (Mark 8:31) For the both, this prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus to die on the cross. Second, the tradition has always declared that Jesus' death was Friday, but if Jesus died and was buried on Friday evening, we realize that on Sunday morning can not be on the third day after Friday, but the third day would be and ended Monday evening.
If the Lord was exactly what he said, must have a Biblical explanation that we clarify this. Jesus said, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight" (John 11:9 a). By having the twelve hours of daylight, let the night with the other twelve hours remaining of the day. So also includes a full day night, ie the complete day and night for 24 hours, 12 hours for the day and 12 hours for the night, TOTAL: 24 hours. From this we understand that three days and three nights would add seventy-two hours. Therefore, there is no reason to think that they were less than 72 hours, nor to be more.
Our intention to answer this question is not to offend anyone, because for the believer that is what should matter whatever the day Jesus died for our sins and therefore we are saved. The following is a chronology of events recorded from the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem to his resurrection.

Baptism
Pastor my question is this: You must be baptized to be saved? and what is the right thing to do? I ask this because I heard that the asperción (spraying) is a method supported by some churches .. Thanks for your response. Mirna, let me say that you have done an excellent question, because it is a question that emerges to address this issue. When I consider your question contains two parts: First, ask if the baptism is required for salvation, then, what is the biblical way to be baptized. Let me answer in the light of God's word.
First, we must understand that no one must be baptized scripturally to be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says that our salvation is "by grace" received grace "through faith" Receiving the grace through faith is a "gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast"
Therefore, no work to do, including baptism, can give us salvation. In fact, the only requirement for baptism Bible is to be saved. Perhaps one of the best examples in the Bible is the Ethiopian Eunuch's case in Acts 8:26-39.
Reading his story we see the Ethiopian follow the right process to follow a believer after his conversion to his baptism. The Ethiopian Eunuch, who had believed the gospel question "What prevents me from being baptized?" - Philip, who was evangelizing replied: "If you believe with all my heart, thou mayest." The response of the eunuch-evidence that he qualified to be baptized as properly answered: "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." And immediately he was baptized. The Ethiopian eunuch was baptized as soon as they understood the gospel and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. He did not wait for something to happen in her life, nor wait until after "months" before baptism, but simply obeyed immediately. Therefore, the natural consequence of a saved person is baptized.
Now regarding the question of which is the correct way to be baptized again come to the Word of God.
The word baptize comes from the Greek word "baptizo" which means "to immerse completely." Remember that baptism is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection, we conclude that all scriptural baptism must be done by full-body immersion in water. In the Bible no one was sprayed to be baptized because no one can be buried just sprinkle soil. If the baptism is to be a picture of the burial and resurrection of our Lord, the new believer should be immersed completely in water and not just spray. When considering the baptism of the Ethiopian eunuch and the Lord Jesus Christ can clearly read that both were submerged and then left the water. Matthew 3:16. "And Jesus, when he was baptized (immersed), went up the water ..." Acts 8:38. "... And down into the water ..." Acts 8:39. "When I went up the water ..."
Therefore, the correct method of baptism is Biblical and spray submersion. CONCLUSION: After being saved every believer should be baptized, if anyone still has not done so, talk to your pastor or a leader of his church and make this event something special for your life, because at baptism follow the example of Christ and so fulfill the will of God, and that's enough reason to.
Thank you very much for your question and God bless!

Is salvation is lost?
We have received via email the question of whether salvation is lost ... ... ... ...
This has always been a question that has remained divided the Christian world, that having accepted the sacrifice of Christ and trusting Him as Lord and Savior sersalvos, can we lose our salvation? Definitely NO. When we receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, we receive salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Now it is important to understand how this has affected our relationship with God continually, that is why this question we should be worried answered in the light of the Word of God.
How long will this offer?
"In a public library held the week of freedom, where they forgave all penalties cualquiermaterial with overdue return date had not been returned. No questions were asked, no matter how much time has been elmaterial only had to return it. This period of remission was an exception, not a tradition more than anything was a means of reclaiming some of los6.000 articles the return date had expired more than 60 days. But there was a time limit, the date ended on Saturday, the fines would be business as usual "
• Cuandoconsideramos God's offer to us, it is easy to imagine her as a great event for elcual cualquierpersona forget, you can be forgiven at any time for any bad thing he has done. In a sense this is true in Jesus. EFESIOS.1: 7: "In Him we have redemption through His grace, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace"
• But in reality, the offer is only available today because today is all Quetena, nobody can be sure we can find forgiveness of God another day. That's why believers have an unparalleled guarantee the security of our salvation protected in the Grace of God.
What is grace?
The Grace of God has always been defined as unmerited favor, see this illustration to understand what is Grace. "When a person works eight hours a day and get paid fairly for their time, that is called wages. When a person competes with another and get a trophy for his performance, that is called prize. When a person receives proper recognition for his many years of service and high achievement, that's recognition. But when a person is unable to earn a salary, or win a prize, and do not deserve any recognition we see a picture of God's unmerited favor. This're trying to say when we speak of the grace of God "
• Salvation by grace was given us (free), through faith and not by works, so that none of us can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
• Therefore, God guarantees salvation. God promised to protect her. 1 Peter 1:3-5; He will put his seal of protection (Holy Spirit) Ephesians 1:13-14. God knew we would be unable to maintain our salvation, why did not we entrusted the responsibility of caring what it had cost him so much.
Do you still have questions? Consider this passage. Romans 8:38-39.
ROMANOS.8 :38-39.
- "Neither death," We will not lose when we die.
- "Neither life." Do not lose while we live.
- "No Angels". No one can take it away.
- "Neither principalities." Nor no human authority can take it away.
- "No powers." Satan can not rob her.
- "Do not even present." Shown on the present nothing that happens can we lose.
- "Do not even come." Nothing that happens in the future can make us lose.
- "Not high". Nothing and no one there to take it away loscielospuede.
- "Not so deep." Lasprofundidades anything that exists in the earth or the universe can take it away.
- "Nor any other created thing" can separate us from the love of God
How I can be sure I'm safe?
1. God has made it clear in his word so that we know is, we understand and we are confident that we have eternal life. 1 John 5:11-13
2. Remember "The only true promises are to be complied with" 1 John 2:25 says, "and this is what he promised us-even eternal life."
3. And God does not lie: Titus 1:2 says, "in hope of eternal life which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of lossiglos."
Conclusion: "The issue of security of our salvation is too important to leave your studio unknown. Salvation is a gift from God, elhombre can not win, it's not a reward for being good, nor pay for a good that has been done, but a gift we receive unmerited free from God. "Blessings !!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday, December 19, we present general leaders of ministries, which has happened in almost four years at New Life Lourdes. We did a count of how our growth has been at this time, which has been very good, but also challenge them to stakes and not think about how we can further expand the kingdom in this area of Lourdes.
Everyone, adults, youth and children have a responsibility to be channels for others to know our God.
This year we want to stimulate interest in missions, which will begin in our fourth anniversary.
On January 23, 4 years of the church have begun formally, and we want everyone to have the same desire of God's heart, and the only way is doing what he tells us.
In mid-February to send a report all about our anniversary.
Discipleship
In January restart basic Bible study for those brothers who are engaged in studying the Bible more personally, as there are one to one discipleship, we created two groups of Discipleship I on Wednesday night, which we have called "First Steps. "
Also on Wednesday January 14 launched the "Bible Institute", a good number of brothers willing to learn the Bible to another level, met in search for new tools to have a better picture of the Word of God. It's exciting! Check brothers wanting to know more about the Lord and prepare to do the work of God in the place where they operate.
Christmas Dinner
Sunday December 21 we had our traditional Christmas dinner, where to keep the habit ate chicken.
It was a very special event, we met that day about 120 adults and 80 children.
In addition there were special events more enjoyable cult of Christmas as gifts to people we met during the year, as well as among children and youth drama directed by David Lopez and Yeny.
Thank you Lord for allowing us to celebrate this special day dedicated to you!
